See the wild side of Costa Rica!
One of Costa Rica’s most famous tours, the Palo Verde Nature Tour will give you the chance to see wildlife up close and in their natural habitat. After a scenic drive, enjoy a two hour river safari on the Tempisque River in the beautiful and wild Palo Verde National Park. Home to hundreds of migrating and local birds, you will also see several other species of animals including, the mighty American crocodile (one of the largest in the world), howler and white-faced monkeys, iguanas and other lizards, as well as other small mammals on the river banks.
After the river safari you will be treated to a delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch cooked in an old-style wood kitchen. On our way back we will pass through the famous artisan village of Guaitil where we will stop to learn how the Chorotega natives make their renowned pottery using the same techniques that were used by their Pre-Columbian ancestors.
Our last stop will be at one of Costa Rica’s finest coffee shops. Here, you’ll learn about coffee, the process of how’s it’s made and its importance to Costa Rica. You’ll also have a chance to taste and purchase the best coffee in the world!
